Scottish Union Learning Everyday Skills Event
From: February 26th 2009 until February 26th 2009The Scottish Union Learning Everyday Skills Event will be held on Thursday, 26 February 2009 in the Dewars Centre in Perth.
The event is aimed at Union Learning Reps, tutors and others with an interest in Everyday Skills issues. The main theme of the event is 'The Future of Everyday Skills' and we have invited a speaker from the Scottish Government to deliver a presentation on the national strategy and funding of workplace literacies.
One of the workshops will focus on this issue, and the other will explore (1) numeracy in the workplace and (2) issues relating to literacy difficulties.
