Background

Learn@Work is a Socrates Minerva project (2005-2008) focusing on the use of ICT to enhance the induction and continuing support for learners in the workplace.

The project aim is to explore the synthesis between the theories, conceptual frameworks and practices of distance learning, e-learning, work based learning and work placed learning in order to provide the community with practical examples guidance on the design and implementation of e-supported learning at work.

About the conference

This is a dissemination event for the Learn@Work project, aiming to enhance the induction and support for learners in the workplace. The focus will be on policy and pedagogy of work based learning, synthesis between the theories, conceptual frameworks and practices of distance learning, e-learning, work based learning and work placed learning in order to provide the community with practical examples guidance on the design and implementation of e-supported learning at work. The conference will be of interest for FE and HE practitioners, entrepreneurs, learners and anyone interested in work based learning, e-learning and lifelong learning.
