Union Learning in Brora

A UNISON Union Learning Rep – Roxana Meecham – has achieved a first in Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland. Roxana was successful in applying to the Highlands and Islands Learning Fund, which is supported by ESF, for a computer arts course. The course was held in Brora, a rural area where previously, no union-led learning had taken place. The course was delivered by Dave Smith of Artsmith and not only did the learners acquire new skills – they had fun too!
