Skills Utilisation
The Skills Utilisation Project is a joint venture between Scottish Union Learning, the STUC and the Scottish Centre for Employment Research at the University of Strathclyde Business School. The objective of the project is to examine the potential role of trade unions in contributing to better skills utilisation in workplaces in Scotland by examining case studies of skills utilisation in practice.
The research was completed in April 2011. Materials to support trade unions in skills utilisation are being developed by Scottish Union Learning and will be posted soon.
