Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) to reopen

Scottish Government to make Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) available from July 1st 2020.

As part of the Scottish Government’s Labour Market Strategy, ITAs were launched in October 2017, aiming to support employability through the promotion of skills development.

This year, the Scottish Government are adapting ITAs to respond to the ongoing economic challenges, with a particular focus on those seeking employment and those in low paid jobs and wishing to progress.

Applications will be open on the 1st of July 2020, and will accept up to 14,000 new applications. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can receive up to £200 toward relevant training.
