Part-Time Fee Grant (PTFG)

If you’re studying at least 30 credits and your personal income is £25,000 or less (including replacement living-cost benefits), you may be eligible to study for free with the Part-Time Fee Grant https://www.open.ac.uk/courses/apply/scotland-grant-apply.

Trade Union discount for new learners in Scotland

If your personal income is more than £25,000, you are a resident of Scotland, and new to the OU, you could qualify for the 10% union discount for your first module at SCQF 7 / OU level 1 (30 or 60 credits). State on the registration form that you would like to claim the union discount and provide a copy of your union ID card.
