Digital Skills Education Ltd, in conjunction with Scottish Union Learning and with thanks to funding from the Scottish Government, are running three Cyber courses during the month of April 2023.
They are a great way to up your digital skills and confidence. You don’t need any technical knowledge or experience to take part. The courses will be run over three x 2-hour sessions. You’ll get a certificate to recognise your learning. These courses are delivered remotely and are available to all workers in Scotland.
The second of these courses will offer attendees the best ways to detox from their data.
Attendees will:
• Learn how companies gather and process your personal data
• Learn tips about reducing the amount of data stored about you
• “Data detox” your web browsing, social media, and phone
• Adjust your settings so you share only what you’re comfortable with
