Challenging Conversations - Focus Group Session

Being a union rep requires you to have difficult and often very challenging conversations with colleagues, employers, fellow reps and officials. Whether you're a newly trained rep or an experienced rep, having challenging conversations can be daunting and many reps may not feel entirely confident. You may feel like you have the knowledge around a certain subject, but struggle when it comes to communication. Or you may struggle with using the correct language and terminology, and would benefit from some learning around this.
Scottish Union Learning is in the process of building a session around having challenging conversations, and we are keen to hear from reps. What would you like to see in a potential course? Come along and let us know!
