Scottish Union Learning Highlands and Islands Online Learning Conference: Upskilling and Reskilling for a Resilient Highlands and Islands Workforce

September 30, 2022, 09.15 – 14.30

Online, Zoom

We are delighted to have Roz Foyer, STUC General Secretary and Richard Lochhead, MSP and Minister for Employment and Work as our guest speakers, along with Wendy Burton, Director of Scottish Union Learning.

We have organised a broad range of workshops to reflect a busy year in Highlands and Islands (more details below), one in which SUL-funded learning projects have worked hard to meet workers’ needs through imaginative, diverse and practical programmes.

Please join us wherever you are to recognise everyone’s recent achievements with a view to meeting the challenges ahead together.

Workshops:

Creative Writing for Wellbeing – Catherine Deveney, NUJ Scotland

Focus Group: New Training for ULRs – Jill Little Woodhouse, TUC Education Scotland
