ASLEF Training Room at Edinburgh Waverley Station, Edinburgh
We've all had something we'd like to change about work. Whether it's an issue with pay, not getting paid staff travel home late at night, no consultation on rota management, not getting the correct tips...we've all been there.
So come along to find out more about your employment rights, how to stand up to your boss along with your colleagues, and how not to be sacked in the process! This is an educational workshop open to young workers who are not active in a trade union but want to know more about standing up for themselves and their friends at work. Workshop spaces are limited to 15 participants, so please put your name down early!
The workshop will be delivered in the ASLEF training room in Edinburgh Waverley train station (Platform 2). Participants will meet at the Customer Information room at the rear of the station.
This event is part of the Young Workers' Learning Project. For more information and to register your place, please email Sarah Collins at scollins@stuc.org.uk.
