With Open University, workers can enrol on free courses that reward them with certificates and digital badges, helping them develop, understand and value their skills. Workers still need direction from their union to acquire and expand their skills base.
Trade Unions are key to supporting and engaging learners in successfully accessing online learning.
The session will look at:
- what the barriers are to online learning;
- tips to capture learners' attention; and
- learning opportunities with the Open University to support you in your role; and
- learning opportunities with the Open University to support union members.
