Skills for Life: Uniting workplaces through learning

STUC and Scottish Union Learning are hosting an event to support apprentices in Scotland, as part of Scottish Apprenticeships Week 2026. The theme of the event is Skills for Life: Uniting workplaces through learning and will focus on how to equip apprentices with skills for progressing in the workplace.

The agenda includes:

  • Workshops on Fair Work in the workplace, and recognising and tackling harmful narratives.
  • Speakers from the STUC, Show Racism the Red Card and PFA Scotland.
  • A panel session showcasing apprentices’ successes and collective power in improving fair work outcomes through union membership.

Registration from 9.15am. Lunch will be provided.

The event is for apprentices who are union members, their union reps and union officers. Please ensure you have clearance from your union to attend before booking.
