CyberScotland - Education, Skills and Training Bulletin
The CyberScotland Partnership is excited to announce the release of the new ‘Education, Skills and Training Bulletin’, which will be sent out three times a year in January, April and August.
This bulletin is designed for anyone interested in forthcoming education opportunities in these areas, including learners, school teachers, youth workers, college lecturers, academics, training providers, and learning and development managers. In this bulletin, you will find information on upcoming courses, workshops, and training opportunities that are designed to help you stay ahead of the latest cyber threats and improve your cyber security skills.
Fully funded microdentials: applications close 5 Feb
Open University Microcredentials
Applications close on 5 February, 2023.
Once again, there is an opportunity to apply for funded places on Open University Microcredentials, including at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. The list of microcredentials which are available has changed. Currently, there are 19 fully funded microcredentials covering subjects including business and management, leadership, mental health, sustainability and mentoring and coaching.

Here is the latest information from the Open University in Scotland on course deadlines, new learning opportunities and available funding.
Course registration closes soon.
Register for February 2023 courses by Thursday, 12 January 2023. You may qualify for the 10% trade union member discount if your personal income is more than £25K for your first module at level 1 (please state on the registration form that you would like to claim the union discount and provide a copy of your union ID card).

The nomination process for the Scottish Union Learning Learner of the Year 2023 is now open.
