ULR Stage 1 Training Announced in Glasgow
Are you interested in becoming a Union Learning Rep? There is a Stage 1 ULR training taking place in City of Glasgow College on 23, 24, 25 April and then 29 and 30 May 2019.

The Open University in Scotland is open for October registrations. No qualifications are required for most modules and you can enrol one module at a time. What's more, If you earn £25k or less and live in Scotland you may be eligible to study for free; earning & learning.
Cyber Week Scotland 2019
Taking place over the week of 22 - 29 April 2019, a first of its kind for cyber in Scotland, Cyber Scotland Week draws together events across Scotland to showcase the innovation taking place across the sector, while raising awareness of good cyber resilience practice and promoting a career within the industry.
Fair Work Dissemination Event 2019
On 24th January 2019, Scottish Union Learning held a dissemination event in the Albany Learning and Conference Centre in Glasgow.
The event was attended by representatives from unions, learners who had participated in leadership courses, and Scottish Government representatives.

The development of an inclusive workforce in Scotland was the main issue for discussion at the 11th Scottish Union Learning Conference held at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel in Clydebank on Tuesday, 13 November 2018. More than 100 delegates from unions across Scotland attended this event to contribute to this debate, and further developed their knowledge and skills in delivering learning opportunities in the workplace.
Speakers at this event included Ivan McKee MSP, Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation, Grahame Smith, STUC General Secretary, Marion Beattie, Skills Development Scotland and Gerry Britton, Chief Executive, Partick Thistle Football Club. The Minister also presented the 8th Annual STUC Learner of the Year Award.
The conference included a panel discussion, and a number of workshops on related topics including Technology, Disability Equality, Menopause in the Workplace, and Leadership.
